Artificial Intelligence for Corporate Innovation

In a not so far away future, we will have to work hard on this set of questions: When will robots (artificial intelligence) become trusted members of corporate innovation teams? How will this happen? Who will make it happen? What is the impact? We should be on the forefront on this development and Transform XO is taking the first steps now while calling for partners. The focus will be on corporate innovation capabilities that can help companies improve on their innovation outcomes (products and services).

A Hybrid Think-Tank and Accelerator

Transform XO aims to set up a hybrid think-tank and accelerator that will focus on two things; 1) provide answers to the above set of questions and 2) work as the connector to help corporations, service providers and startups develop services and products related to the questions.

A working title is Artificial Intelligence for Corporate Innovation by Transform XO - in short AICI.

Sharing Knowledge

At AICI, we believe that openness, sharing and networked structures is the way forward in today's world of business and innovation. Thus, we will share our work with the rest of the world and engage with relevant companies, organizations and people to get their perspectives and input to our work.

A Corporate Partnership

While we share our work in an open and public way, AICI is also looking for corporate partners with an interest in the above questions (and their answers) and the potential services and products that can be developed on this basis.

The benefits for a corporate partner:

  • Influence the work of AICI including the opportunity to direct focus to your corporate issues
  • Access to a virtual collaboration lab with a growing base of insights, perspectives and projects
  • Frequent workshops for the partners only
  • High involvement in the development of services and products
  • Thought leadership recognition as speakers at events and as co-authors for articles and books

A corporate partnership costs EUR 5-25.000 per year. A few, select service providers and startups will also be invited to join AICI.

Singapore first, then Europe and the US

AICI started in Singapore in Q2 2017 together with a group of founding partners.

Similar hubs will be established in Europe and the US early 2018.

Your thoughts?

This is work in progress. I am curious on your feedback and in particular on these four questions:

What are your thoughts on the general idea of focusing on artificial intelligence for corporate innovation?

What are the good / bad things in the above structure?

What initiatives, services and companies are already in place in this context that we should know more about?

If you were to contribute to such an initiative, how would you like to do so?

Thanks!
