The Artificial Intelligence War
I'm worried and won't lie. I'm not sleeping well at all these days because I'm seriously concerned about the futures of Executive Assistants everywhere...especially my MEGAs. Maybe it was a mistake, but I took a plunge down the rabbit hole and started binge watching YouTubes from Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Sam Harris all having similar, REAL fears about the future of Artificial Intelligence and how it will impact business and jobs over the next 5 - 10 years.

Artificial Intelligence: A Practical Viewpoint
I always frown a little bit when people call me "The Disruptor" or "The Fresh, New Voice on the Scene." Seriously, I just tell the truth. No lube. No sugarcoating. No bedtime story afterward. The truth has become something people fear hearing vs. actually wanting to hear it and using the information to avert disaster or stave off the inevitable for as long as they can. And it's caused alarming levels of complacency and ignorance to the storm that has already aligned its clouds and about ready to unleash a fury like we've only seen once or twice in history. So I'm about to dispense with a little truth that you're not going to like hearing, but is imperative for you to start wrapping your head around so that you can begin making some adjustments to your life to avoid, even circumvent the inevitable. On Diversity in Tech
"So, there's only 3 chocolate chips in this whole cookie. Am I right?" After explaining the snarky metaphor to a member of the Legal team I had just joined, an Asian female I might add, she and I burst into laughter. And then we turned in our seats, looked around the huge open plan office together, and counted exactly 3 African American employees in the 350+ Square had at the time (2013). "Oh my God, you're right! Wow."Ironically, they were serving freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for lunch that day. They were delicious. Especially the chocolate chips.
