The Governor of the Bank of England has presented King Charles the inaugural banknotes featuring his portrait.

King Charles praised the design of the new £5, £10, £20, and £50 banknotes. Each banknote features the king's own portrait, set to be released into circulation this June. This ceremonial presentation marked a significant milestone in the transition of the British monarchy.
