Metaphysics: Why it Matters?

Metaphysics: Why it Matters?

You’ve probably heard about the word “vibration”, or “vibe” in short, but you are unsure what it means and why it matters to you…Don’t worry, you are not the only one.

As a matter of fact, most of us have gone through life without knowing or thinking much about it. As a result, life seems to be a bit out of our control. Or at the most, it depends heavily on what’s happening to us from the outside - when things go well, we are happy; when things don’t go well or in the way we expected, we become unhappy, upset, angry, frustrated, depressed. Our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing seems to be largely tied to the ups and downs of the external circumstances. We are the “effect”, not the “cause”; and it seems that we can never take control of our life.

But, is that true?

Before digging into the answers, I’d like to share with you a short story, told by the ancient tribe in Hopi Nation, Arizona:

The Creator said, “I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it. It is the realization that they create their own reality.”

The eagle said, “Give it to me. I will take it to the moon.”

The Creator said, “No. One day they will go there and find it.”

The salmon said, “I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean.”

The Creator said, “No. They will go there, too.”

The buffalo said, “I will bury it on the Great Plains.”

The Creator said, “They will cut into the skin of the earth and find it even there.”

Grandmother who lives in the breast of Mother Earth, and who has no physical eyes but sees, said

“Put it inside of them.”

And the Creator said, “It is done.”

Yes! That’s right - deep inside we all know that, we DO have the power to create our own reality, we DO have the power to live a life that we dream of living, we DO have the power to fulfil our own potential. But how?

By starting going inward, self-reflecting, becoming more self-aware, rather than seeking answers or fulfillment from outside;

By starting taking responsibilities, owning our own mistakes and emotions, asking “what can I learn from this”, “what are the lessons for me”, and outgrowing the challenges;

By starting letting go, honouring the growth process, and stopping chasing timelines or meeting the expectations of others;

By starting loving ourselves, but really loving ourselves, no matter how many mistakes we made, how many times we fell, knowing that the mud is what contributes to the fragrance of the roses, and that there will always be rainbow at the end of the storm.

And by doing so, we start making the very first step to change our life, which is by changing ourselves, our own vibration. Because each and everyone of us vibrates energetically at a particular frequency. The lower the frequency, the denser our energy, and the heavier our life seems; whereas the higher the frequency of our energy or vibration, the lighter we feel in our physical, emotional, and mental bodies, and the greater personal power, clarity, peace, love, and joy we will experience.

    The way you deconstruct something as broad as Metaphysics is astonishing.
