Wow, another year! They keep on coming don't they? Here are some tips to start off the year that might make a difference long after January.
[ ] Invite friends over for each of the first few weekends in January. They'll appreciate the invitation, and it will help you avoid getting the winter blahs.
[ ] Update your photo albums, slides, or videos, and make backups for grandma or the kids. Spend an evening with family or friends to look at your assortment.
[ ] Remembering Dr. King is a good way to undertake more breathing space activities. If you don't have anything planned for this day, give yourself the treat of not being in a hurry, and take time for quiet reflection.
[ ] Revisit your coin, stamp, postcard collections, etc. Visit a hobby shop and buy the latest magazine to find out what's happening in the collector's world.
[ ] Install a Vitalite. Full-spectrum lighting that provides the same healthful benefits as the sun. You'll feel more energetic, less depressed, and more productive.
[ ] Read the travel section of the Sunday newspaper and think of adventure!
[ ] Visit the gym or health club one extra time per week – you might not do as much passive exercise during the winter months.
