Why is it Important to Align your Content Marketing Strategy to Buyer's Journey

As a business what kind of content should I press and why is it important?

I recently spoke with a business leader who had trouble implementing his content marketing strategy and that the results were not in line with his expectations.

So I asked him what is your content market strategy ? He said we are very focused on our blog. We regularly write blog posts and share them on social media.

You see, most people operate under the notion that by pushing some blog articles or a whitepaper or post on social media and think it will generate leads for them.

As a business you need to analyze the buyer’s journey, which consists of different stages a customer goes through leading up their purchase.

There are a few variations of what the buyer’s journey looks like, but the 3 main stages are:

♦️ 1. Awareness
♦️ 2. Consideration
♦️ 3. Decision

The challenge is to deliver content that engages consumers according to their needs.

Let's take a look at some types of content you can create for each stage of the buyer’s journey and why.
