Deloitte’s cybersecurity quiz "Hacker IQ" was pulled after a security researcher gained access to the site and exposed the vulnerabilities.
A website tied to an event that quizzed people on their hacking knowledge, launched by a major security consultancy firm, is itself vulnerable of being hacked.
The consultancy firm remains alert in assessing cyber threats to protect confidential information, and to continually reviewing and enhancing their cyber security.
This incident showcases a number of important lessons for every organization that wants to avoid such embarrassment.
