As a football fan, I can understand why Ryan Reynolds is frustrated with the National League promotion system. With only one team being automatically promoted, it puts the second-placed team at a disadvantage, even if they have had an excellent season. I believe there should be multiple automatic promotion spots for the National League to make it more fair.
Good points, Mark, but one has to be a bit careful. Stepping up to L-2 is a big move. I feel only the very best teams should be given the shot. Thanks for commenting.

It's great to see Hollywood celebrities investing in smaller football teams like Wrexham and bringing attention to them. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have breathed new life into Wrexham, and it's fantastic to see them doing so well. I can't wait to see the documentary series about their journey!
Thanks for reading, Scott. A new season of the series airs this summer, hopefully with first place/promotion celebrations for Wrexham, and maybe even Notts County. Cheers/Ashley

As a Notts County fan, it's gutting to see Wrexham currently top the National League table. However, I have to admit they have had an impressive season, and it will be exciting to see how they perform in League Two next year. Hopefully, Notts County can turn things around in their remaining matches and secure automatic promotion.
Thanks for commenting, David. Your team is a storied club, with so much history. I hope they both go up, eh?
It will be interesting to watch out how the rest of the season plays out.

I'm a big fan of Mike Young's work, and it's excellent to see him so excited about Wrexham's success. His comments about the team being bought by Hollywood actors and rebuilding a whole community sound like something out of a movie! I can't wait to see how they fare in League Two next season.
Lisandro, Mike is a pal of mine, and I sent him a link to this story. You're spot on with your comments. Cheers

It's amazing to see Wrexham doing so well under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. As a Welsh football fan, it's fantastic to see a Welsh team doing so well in the English football leagues. Hopefully, they can continue their success in League Two next season.
With a name like Williams, you must be Welsh, I'm from Newport/Cardiff and have a lot of family still there. Newport is my second team after Spurs, but all the other Welsh clubs are next (Swansea, Cardiff, Newport and Wrexham)...thanks for commenting.

It's important to remember the history and tradition of clubs like Wrexham and Notts County. These are teams that have been around for over a century and have a strong following. It's great to see them doing well. They can continue to build on their success. They've had a fantastic season. More celebrities should follow their lead by investing in historic clubs.
Nial, thanks for second comment. Great observations. I think Ryan and Rob have been swept up in the excitement, but they also pay tribute to what County have done. Cheers

Well done lads. It's not just about the money and investment, but also the passion and dedication that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have brought to Wrexham. They're not just silent investors, they're actively involved in the club and have become true fans of the team.
True fans, indeed. I'm a big fan of Ryan and his sharp business sense as well. He and I also share Canadian roots. Cheers

The success of Wrexham and Notts County shows that you don't need to be a Premier League team to have a great season and achieve promotion. It's a reminder that there's more to English football than just the top flight and that there's a lot of talent and potential in the lower tiers.
James, I'm excited by the responses to my story, and to the little guys' dream—which is really like our own dreams. Cheers

Lower teams are often overlooked by the majority, but there are so many passionate players, fans and owners that deserve recognition.
So true, Harry. My former hometown team of Newport were on the National league, too, before being promoted to L-2 (I believe over Wrexham). Cheers

Completely agree with Ryan Reynolds' comments about the National League promotion system. It's not fair that only one team gets automatic promotion, and the second-placed team has to go into the playoffs. Changes can be made to make it more fair for all the teams involved.
Hopefully, Ryan's comments, and our comments, won't fall on deaf ears. Cheers

Wrexham is doing so well under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. They will certainly continue their success in League Two next season.
Andrew. they haven't quite clinched it, yet. But it's looking good. Cheers
