A well-rested individual is far less likely to make errors as their brain is sharper, it is paying more attention to detail, and it’s generally more with it than someone who isn’t sleeping. The cognitive ability is severely impaired when tired, leading to mistakes that someone who is getting enough sleep would notice in a heartbeat. Having said that, though, those who are sleep deprived have been known to have a false confidence in their abilities, thinking that they are able to do something that they definitely cannot. As such, if someone is trying to complete a task that is beyond their current capabilities, errors are going to be made.
