Online queries for ‘new Apple pencil’ reached 727% within a day of Apple’s announcement.

Apple pencil 3’ has also seen a 732% spike in online searches.

Apple has announced the launch of Apple Pencil USB-C, its third-generation drawing tool that has a convenient – and unique – charging port. It will be available for purchase in early November for $79.

It’s the cheapest Apple Pencil to date and works with all USB-C iPads, though it lacks some of the features of the more expensive Apple Pencils. Following the launch of the iPhone 15, Apple is shifting to the common charging standard in compliance with European Union law.

The research has analysed online interest in the Apple Pencil USB-C. The data shows that online searches for ‘New Apple Pencil’ increased by 727% on October 17th since the announcement; ‘Apple Pencil 3’ has also skyrocketed by 732% in the same period.
