Rich List Revealed: The Most Influential People from New Zealand

New data has revealed the most influential celebrities from New Zealand. 

The recent research analyzed Instagram data across influencer marketing calculators to establish which celebrity from New Zealand has the most social media presence. The study examined Instagram followers, engagement rates and price per sponsored post.  

Roseanna Park, otherwise known as Rosé in the K-Pop group Blackpink, takes the crown as the most influential New Zealander. Born in Auckland, the singer and dancer has 74.1 million followers and an engagement rate of 5% on Instagram. As a result, she can earn up to £195,291 per sponsored post on the social media platform. 

The second most influential celebrity from New Zealand is KJ Apa. Best known for his role as Archie in the Netflix series Riverdale, the Auckland-born actor and singer has 18 million followers, an engagement rate of 1.6%, and can earn up to £45,856 per sponsored post on Instagram. 

While originally born in Belgium, Stella Maxwell is the third most influential celebrity to hold a New Zealand citizenship. The former Victoria’s Secret model can earn up to £34,061 per sponsored post on the platform due to having 9.1 million followers on Instagram.

Lorde, the Auckland-born singer-songwriter best known for her hit single Royals, is the fourth most influential celebrity from New Zealand. Despite only having two posts, Lorde can earn up to £28,210 per sponsored post on Instagram, thanks to her 10.7 million followers and 7.4% engagement rate.  

The fifth most influential celebrity to come from New Zealand is Israel Adesanya. The Nigerian-born sports star, known for his work in mixed martial arts and kickboxing, has an engagement rate of 3% and 8.4 million followers. In turn, Israel can earn up to £22,140 per sponsored post.
