German Chancellor Urges Europe to Scale Up Armament Production Amid Rising Tensions

Olaf Scholz, the German Chancellor, has called for a significant and urgent increase in the production of armaments across Europe.

He asserts that the continent is currently not in times of peace. Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for Rheinmetall's new munitions factory, Scholz emphasized the need for European nations to collaborate on orders and financing to provide purchase guarantees for the defense industry over the next decades.
