Then, there is a new project that you are definitely going to enjoy. We are talking about Morbius. Jared Leto appears as Dr. Michael Morbius and it follows on from the Spider-Man Universe that is gathering speed.

But, there has been some disappointment when it comes to Morbius. This project might be something that you were already aware of. But, there have been so many delays with production, you may have thought that you missed something. Well, it is still not out yet and it looks like it will be a while before the debut. The Teasers Show Promise

Morbius is a long-awaited character to hit the screens and he is described as being an anti-hero. Within the universe, he is a living vampire and Jared Leto is going to be bringing this character to life. While there have been a lot of delays to its release, fans have not been short of promotional material they can view. We are talking about clips and trailers. So, the excitement is very much alive. The CGI used in the movie is top class and ensures that the fans are going to be in for quite a ride during the movie.

The VFX Team Have Brought the Magic

Visual effects are important for any action movie and when you are bringing a famous character to life, you have to bring the magic. Well, that is exactly what the VFX team is doing for Morbius. In order to capture the character from Marvel Comics, the team used CGI. This was able to offer the most realistic look and worked much better than any makeup or prosthetics. What’s more, it meant that Jared Leto could easily transform into his vampire form and still resemble his human self and it made for a better movie.

One technique that was used, in particular, was using a stage and a variety of dots. In other words, the actors would play out the scene on the stage while technology is used to capture their movements. In particular, the dots on the face and helmet cameras by the VFX team are some of the things that are done to ensure the best movie can be brought to your screen. In particular, this was the strategy that was used to create Thanos and ensure he was an amazing character in Avengers: Infinity War.

Following On from the Achievement of Thanos

Marvel Studios was celebrated for creating the character of Thanos and bringing him to life so well on the screen. This is particularly true when you realize just how much screen time he had in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The team worked tirelessly to ensure that every expression and movement from Josh Brolin was captured. In particular, this meant using facial capture, as well as CGI strategies. Indeed, the movies were huge hits and many fans described Thanos as ‘realistic’, which is a huge compliment for a fictional character.

Indeed, Morbius is going to be a way for the VFX team to beat this performance. While it will be hard, they will work around the clock to ensure that the living vampire becomes realistic to viewers. Certainly, some of the scenes will be Jared Leto when the character is in its human form. But, CGI and this technology will be used in order to bring the vampire side to life.

When is the Movie Coming to Theaters?

This highly anticipated film is coming to theaters in just a few weeks. We are talking about April 1 2022.  This is two years after the first trailer for the movie was released back in 2020. The movie is directed by Daniel Espinosa and demonstrates the story of Morbius. He was a person who was able to cure himself of a rare disease but he became a vampire.

There is also a lot of excitement around Morbius for the future. Many people have spoken about the prospect of crossovers between a lot of famous Marvel characters. For instance, Jared Leto has spoken about the potential to feature with Blade. In addition, Tom Holland has made his feelings known about fighting Morbius in the future. This could be an interesting storyline that could happen if fans like this movie. Indeed, it will depend on how much of a hit this movie will be.
